Yesterday was a huge milestone in Jaxon's life, he started pre-school!!! He has been looking forward to this day for sometime. I was a little worried when he woke up with a cold :( I had been sick the week prior and unfortunately had passed it along to him. Cold or no cold he was excited to go to school. He was all smiles the entire way there, he even let me take a few pictures of him. I walked him into the school, he put his "pack pack" on his hook and was eager to go into the class room and then that is when it all changed......We opened the door to the class room and to his dismay all 10 of the other children we SCREAMING their guts out!! He immediately wanted me to hold him The teacher instructed to say goodbye and leave so that's what I did after I pried him off of me. I was about to head up the stairs when I felt something grab my leg, it was him they weren't quick enough to catch him. So they had to tear him off of me screaming and yelling. I stayed in the hall for a minute afterwords, tears in my eyes. I peeked in on him one last time and he was sitting in his teacher's lap.
This was the first time in his life that I have left him with someone other than family. It was a HUGE step for both of us. I went to work and worried my self sick for the next 2 1/2 hours. My mom and I picked him up, she got there before him and was able to watch him play on the playground. He didn't see her and was just playing. He is such a smart, funny little boy. I know he is going to love school!

Damn those other kids for freaking him out! He is so stinkin' cute! Love the pack pack!
He is SO cute and you are so brave!! I have never left my kids with anyone other than family either. I thought I was crazy. You made me feel better. :)
