Busy, busy, busy.....

06.05.09
June has been a very busy month for Jaxon. We have seriously been on the go every single day. A few weeks ago we had a play date with Annie, Brooklyn and Paige. Our plan was to go to the Children's Garden at Thanksgiving Point, but of course it was a monsoon. So we decided to go to the Dinosaur Museum instead. The kids had fun looking at the dinosaurs and digging in the dirt for bones. We have so much fun with the ValDez girls and hope to do more fun stuff with them this summer.

The following day we went up to Ogden with Jason's family to celebrate his dad's birthday. We met Jimmy, Brooke and the boys at the Dinosaur Park and then we went to dinner and for ice cream with Julie and Paul. The boys had fun running around the park. We went to Farr's Ice cream Parlor, they serve ice cream in little baseball hats, which the boy's loved.

A couple of weeks ago we took Jaxon to Lagoon for the first time. He had SO much fun, he takes after me and loves rides. Uncle Andrew was his ridding partner for the day.

This past weekend we took a mini "vacation" up to Deer Valley. Jaxon has been dying to go on vacation and since Jason and I are going to New York next week we thought it would be nice to take him somewhere. Dexter had a Lacrosse tournament in Park City so we went to one of his games and then we headed to Stein Erickson Lodge where Dexter and Yo had a room courtesy of Zane. Dex and Yo had been on traveling for about a week so they were ready to go home, but they let us stay the night in their room. After the game Dex, Jason, Jaxon and I headed up to the hotel and had dinner, it was so yummy. We then went back to the room and Dex showed Jaxon what you do on vacation...Jump on the beds!

After jumming on the beds we went hot tubing. Dex had to leave after that so we invited the Herrera's up to spend the night. The kids had so much fun jumping on the beds, hot tubing, rough housing and staying up late.

They finally passed out around midnight.
