Vacation

This past weekend Jason, Jaxon and I were able to go on vacation with my family( minus Matt who is currently in Philly) . We went to Laguna Beach, California. When we were little my parents would take us there almost every summer. We took Jaxon last summer, but he was still a baby. We started talking to him about going on vacation a week before he left, we told him about the ocean and the beach, he was so excited. I, on the other hand, was full of anxiety about traveling with an almost 2 year old. I was dreading the plane ride, but to my surprise Jaxon fell a sleep before we took off and slept for about an hour. He woke up just in time to have a snack and to watch us land. He did the same thing on the way home, but this time he slept the entire way!! We had such a great time, we went to the beach everyday and just relaxed! Jaxon was so good and it was so fun to see how excited he got about everything. Jaxon was in awe of the ocean or as he calls it the "ohshit"!!
Every time he saw it he would say "mom ohshit, mom the ohshit". It was priceless.

Everyday after we left the ocean we would head to the pool so Jaxon could swim. He loved watching the people boogie board, so he had to try it out.

Thanks Mom and Dad. We had such a great time and can't wait to go again!!
