A little update

With all of the hot weather we have been experiencing our new favorite pass time has become swimming. We have been taking advantage of the swimming pool at Andrew's apartment complex. We love this pool for a couple of reasons: 1) it's free 2) there is hardly anyone there and 3) We can take Jaxon's floaties.

Jaxon recently graduated from the tube floatie to his arm floaties!!!

For those of you that don't know we have been going through bathroom remodeling HELL!!!! One good thing is that at least the new jetta bath tube works upstairs and it has fast become Jaxon's new jacuzzi. He loves the bubble's it makes. As soon as (if ever) it gets finished I will post pictures of the final product. But I wouldn't hold my breath......

Cheese!!!!

Jaxon loves playing in water so much that I bought him this little pool for the backyard.

So last weekend we went to Brooklyn's birthday party and Jaxon had a ball playing in the Barbie Jeep (See Brooklyn and Paige's blog for pictures). After that Jason was hell bent on getting Jaxon a Power Wheel. Now keep in mind not just any power wheel, but a Cadillac Escalade power wheel. His reasoning for this was that Jaxon loves to listen to the radio and dance in the car, the Escalade came equipped with a full FM radio (no joke). So Sunday Jason went to 5 different stores to get the car. He justified it by saying that it was for Jaxon's birthday and that since it's too cold in November to play outside we needed to get it now so he could use it.

Before...

Jason even helped me put it together, and if I sound shocked it's because I am. I am usually the one that puts everything together, so it was nice to have some help. We started to put it together about 9pm and it took us about an hour and 45 min.

Jaxon was so excited when he woke up the next morning and found it all put together. The first thing he did was hop in turn on the radio. He then told me " thanks Mom" then he yelled towards the bedroom door where Jason was still sleeping and yelled "thanks Dad". I couldn't believe how grateful he was, it was so cute! I still haven't got a good picture of him driving it, but I will post one as soon as I do.

After...

What a great gift! I love Jason's justification for buying it now. That is totally something I would do. Glad life and the summer is treating you so well!
