It's been awhile....

I've been lazy about the blog lately so here's a recap of the last couple of weeks.

We had my cousin Brandy's wedding on 06.07.08 so we took Jaxon for a much needed hair cut before the big day. Now mind you that he has had a number of hair cuts before now, but this was the only one he didn't cry during. We take him to this cute little place called Cookie Cutter's. They have cool chairs that the kids can sit in as well as TV with DVDs at every station. Jaxon is usually good for the first part of the hair cut and then he loses it. Not this time. We gave him a sucker when he got in the chair and he didn't take it out of his mouth the entire time. We also decided that since it was starting to warm up we would make this his first buzz of the summer. He looks so cute with a buzz!

I was planning on taking a bunch of pictures at the wedding, but I was having too much fun. So much fun in fact that I got cut off from the bar way too soon :( I wasn't the only one to get cut off, but I won't mention the others. Andrew... Oh well it was a blast. The wedding was beautiful and we always have a riot when we get together with our extended family.

Since mother nature finally decided that was time for summer we were able to take Jaxon swimming for the first time this year. He was hesitant at first and refused to get in. Eventually he let Uncle Gus take him in and even let us put him is his tube.

Jaxon was playing catch tonight, well trying. He had the hat on, his mitt and a ball. He just kept throwing it straight up and it would hit him in the head. He kept looking at me like I did it.

Jaxon has become quite the ham in front of the camera. Every time I pull it out he gives me this huge smile and says cheese!!! I have about 20 pictures with his eyes closed because he smiles so big.

Well that's about all we have been up to for the last couple of weeks. My brother Matt is in town, he lives in New York and is going to culinary school there. I will have to see if I can get a picture of him and Jaxon. Speaking of New York, Jason, Danielle and I are going there over the 4th of July. I have never been there and I am soooo excited.
