"Zoooo"

Today was Jaxon's first trip to the zoo. He was so excited on the way there even though he had no idea what the zoo was. He keep saying "Zooooo". When we first got there we decided to start with the train ride. Jaxon loves choo choo's. Then we walked all around the zoo and saw all the awesome animals. Here are some pictures from our adventure.

Jaxon on his first train ride. He had a blast and didn't want to get off (surprise, surprise). He looks like he is about to sneeze.

Our second stop was to see the famous "Ghost of the Bayou".

Then we were off to the elephant exhibit.

I keep trying to get Jaxon's attention, but there was no way he was taking his eyes off that huge thing. I think he was too scared to move, the elephant keep making weird noises.

Next it was the rhinos...

Then the small primates..

We then went to see the zebras, but if you ask Jaxon they were horses.

We were lucky enough to see the black bear. He didn't stay out that long, can't say I blame him.

The next animal's was saw made Jaxon's whole day, the penguins (a.k.a Happy Feet). Anyone who knows Jaxon knows that he loves the movie Happy Feet., and by love I mean we watch it once maybe twice a day!

Once I was finally able to drag Jaxon anyway from Happy Feet we made our way to the giraffes. They were so cute.

After lunch we stopped by the cheetah exhibit. I was able to get Jaxon right in front of the glass so he could see this cheetah walking back and forth right in front of him. He was mesmerized or scared shitless, it was one of the two.

Jaxon was brave enough to take a picture with the bronze tigers.

Our last stop was to see my favorite, the gorillas. Unfortunately they were all napping. So I decided if I couldn't get a picture of Jaxon looking at the gorilla's I would have him pose with the bronze gorilla.

Does he look like he's having fun or what???? I am pretty sure that he will forever be traumatized by this moment. I was after I realized that the gorilla's boobs were bigger than mine. Yikes!!

Well, that was our adventure at the zoo.
Here is the last picture of the day!
