Viva Las Vegas

So a couple of weekends ago we decided to take a road trip to visit Jasons sister in Las Vegas. This was a last minute trip, we decided to go at 6:30pm and we were on the road an hour later. Jasons mom was able to come with us. We decided we wanted to surprise Julie so we called her husband and told him we were coming. I was really nervous about taking Jaxon on such a long road trip, but he did awesome. He slept most of the way there, he woke up just as we were heading into Vegas he was in awe of all the buildings and the bright lights. We didn't get there until about 12:30 (Vegas time). Julie was sleeping so we decied to wait until the morning to surprise her. Jaxon and I went into her room the next morning and he said surprise, she woke up and was SOOO excited to see us. I wish I would have taken a picture of the surprise on her face it was priceless! We had such a great time and we can't wait to go back.

I couldn't take a good picture in the car, but here is Jax watching Happy Feet.

First thing we did was head to the Fashion Show Mall.

Jaxon found some crocks that matched his shirt, too bad they were too small!!

We then headed to a new outdoor mall called the Town Square. They had the cutest little play ground for kids. It had a playhouse, water fountains to run through and toys to play on. At first Jaxon was not into getting wet, but once he got sprayed he had a blast and by the end was soaked.

The Town Square had a restaurant called the Yard House, this place had over a 100 beers on tap. We went during their Happy Hour and lets just say it was a good thing that Jason's mom was there to watch Jaxon!!

The second day we were there we decided to take Jaxon to Circus Circus. He had a lot of fun playing the games and he even won himself a stuffed snake. We also had fun. We found a game that was giving away stuffed horses as their prizes and we were bound and determined to win it for Jaxon. Julie was the big winner and Jaxon couldn't have been happier.

It was a quick trip, but well worth the drive!

Julie, Paul and Boogie thanks for being great hosts. We can't wait to come again!
