Jeter Daniel Soto
Jeter Daniel Soto made his appearance April 6, 2010. I was induced around noon and he was born at 5:03 pm. He was 8 pounds 1 ounce and 20 inches long. My labor was a little complicated because the 1st epidural didn't work right so they had to give me another one. The delivery was a piece of cake, 2 pushes and he was out! I still can't believe he is here yet I can't remember what it was like with out him. Jaxon is of course the BEST big brother, he loves helping me and kissing his brother. So far Jeter is a great baby, he only cries when he is hungry and only wakes up every 3 hours at night (knock on wood).
Proud Dad

Proud Big Brother
He has the biggest hands...
and feet.

We have been blessed with two healthy, beautiful boys and for this we could not be more thankful.

Action shots
I got a new camera for Christmas so I have been experimenting with it lately. Here are some action shots I took of Jaxon the other day.
Jumping on the bed.
Spring Training
Spring training is well underway not only for Major League Baseball, but also at the Soto house. Jaxon has been dying to play baseball outside and finally this weekend it was nice enough for him to take some batting practice.
Of course batting practice wouldn't be batting practice without the uniform.
Jaxon starts tee ball in a couple of weeks he doesn't need the tee but he has to be 5 yrs old to play coach pitch. He can't wait to find out what team he will be on, he's hoping for the Yankees.

Bittersweet
As excited as I am for Jeter to join our family I have found myself a little sad about it at the same time. It hit me this week that this is the last month that Jaxon will be my “baby”. He has been my everything for the past 3+years (I’m blaming it on the hormones, but I’m tearing up as I write this). I know that they say you will love the 2nd just as much as the 1st and I know I will, it’s just hard to imagine. I was looking through pictures the other day and I found these of Jaxon when he was a baby.

I can't believe how fast time went and how much he has grown and changed.
On a lighter note, I am so excited to see how alike and how different Jaxon and Jeter are going to be. Jaxon was such a good baby, he slept through the night early on, he was hardly fussy, he went off the bottle and binky cold turkey and was potty trained in one day….let's hope they're not all that different when it comes to that stuff. I can't wait to see what he will look like!!
I'm going to spend this last month soaking up every minute with Jaxon and enjoying being pregnant (minus the heartburn and backaches) :)

Like father like son
Jaxon and Jason are alike in so many ways, they both rub their eyes a certain way when they are tired, they both have skinny bird legs and they both LOVE sports. Jason has made sure that Jaxon follows in his footsteps when it comes to favorite teams to cheer for. They both love the Yankees, hello they both want to name our baby Jeter for gods sake! And they both love the Lakers and Kobe (at least they don't want to name the baby after him). Last week we had tickets to the Jazz vs. Lakers game and we decided to take Jaxon with us. He was so excited. We had bought him the new Kobe shoes for Valentines, but decided to give them to him early so he could wear them to the game. Unfortunately Kobe was hurt and didn't play and unfortunately the Lakers beat my Jazz, but we still had SO much fun.
